1 Membership benefits, including rewards and discounts, are tier-specific and are conferred upon members upon advancement to higher tiers, with most benefits from lower tiers being continued in higher tiers. For example, a member upgrading from the Emerald tier to the Diamond tier will retain the benefit of a complimentary SSL certificate provided at the Emerald tier.
It should be noted that when similar types of benefits exist across two different tiers at varying amounts, the benefit from the lower tier does not combine with that of the higher tier. Upon tier advancement, the member receives the benefits of the higher tier only. As an illustrative example, should a member progress from the Silver tier (which offers a 2% service discount) to the Gold tier (which provides a 4% discount), the applicable discount is 4% for the Gold tier, not an accumulative 6%.
Furthermore, the welcome gift received at the Silver tier is exclusive to that tier and does not transfer upon promotion to subsequent tiers.
2 The tier-based discount percentage is applicable across all services offered by The Hosting Hotel except for web hosting services, which are excluded from any discount offerings. Unless otherwise specified, discounts are to be applied to the pre-tax amount of the applicable services. All fees and applicable taxes will be calculated and applied subsequent to the application of any discount.
3 The welcome gift is provided as a courtesy to new members upon initial enrolment and is limited to one per individual or entity. The Hosting Hotel reserves the unilateral right to cease the distribution of welcome gifts or to substitute the welcome gift for an equivalent benefit, such as account credit, discount coupons, or gift cards, due to any reason deemed justifiable by the company, including but not limited to excessive shipping costs.
Redemption of the welcome gift is subject to a strict one-time policy per individual or entity. Former members who have previously redeemed a welcome gift and who subsequently reinstate their membership will not be eligible for an additional welcome gift. The Hosting Hotel actively monitors for fraudulent activity and in cases where duplicative redemption is detected, reserves the right to levy charges equivalent to the costs incurred by The Hosting Hotel for the welcome gift, including procurement costs, shipping, handling, applicable fees, and taxes. Charges will be applied to the payment method on file and documented through an itemized receipt.
4 Complimentary technical labor hours are granted according to membership tier and must be redeemed as a discount on the member's next purchase that incurs technical labor charges. The discount is pre-tax and is calculated by multiplying the available complimentary hours by the hourly service rate effective at the time of redemption (for example, 4 complimentary hours x $35.00/hour service rate). Technical service discounts are applied in one-hour increments; therefore, any portion of an hour used will be considered a full hour for billing purposes.
Please be advised that unused technical labor hours are not transferable and do not accrue through to the subsequent membership year. On the anniversary date of your membership, any unused hours will be forfeited without compensation. A new allotment of technical labor hours will be issued based on the member's tier at the start of each new membership year. The Hosting Hotel reserves the right to amend or discontinue this benefit at its sole discretion.
5 The complimentary SSL certificate benefit provided is at the discretion of The Hosting Hotel. The Hosting Hotel reserves the right to select the type and brand of SSL certificate provided, which will be subject to the terms and conditions of the SSL provider. Wildcard SSL certificates are expressly excluded from this offer. This benefit is subject to change at The Hosting Hotel’s discretion and may be modified or discontinued without prior notice.
6 All stated spending requirements for tier qualification within The Hosting Hotel’s loyalty program are calculated based on pre-tax, pre-fee, and pre-shipping amounts. Any taxes, fees, shipping, or other additional charges are excluded from the calculation of spending thresholds required for tier advancement.
7 The Hosting Hotel provides a complimentary annual domain registration benefit, covering fees up to a maximum of $50.00 CAD. This offer applies to standard domain extensions available through [Your Company Name] and is limited to one domain per eligible membership account per annum. In the event that the registration fee of the selected domain exceeds this amount, the member agrees to pay the balance. This benefit does not extend to cover any additional costs or services related to the domain such as, but not limited to, premium domain registrations, transfers, or renewals.
